Fabiana Rosciglione Quartet

‘Fabiana Rosciglione Quartet’ consists of Giorgio Rosciglione – double bass, Enrico Solazzo – piano, Emanuele Zappia – drums and Fabiana Rosciglione on vocals.
The quartet offers a repertoire paying tribute to the greatest composers of the jazz era, ranging from the ‘40s to the ‘60s, from Porter to Jobim and Kern, among others.
Each track is interpreted in a refined and personal way, where each element of the quartet contributes to the achievement of a highly professional and enjoyable performance.

A versatile singer from a young age, she participated in pop record productions before embarking on a jazz career.
She boasts collaborations with internationally renowned Italian and foreign musicians such as Greg Hutchinson, Stefano Di Battista, Riccardo Biseo, Fabrizio Bosso, Flavio Boltro, Bobby Durham, Robben Ford, Dario Rosciglione, Michel Rosciglione, Nicola Stilo, David Sauzay, Vincent Bourgeyx, Paolo Recchia, Baptiste Trotignon, Gegè Munari, Ettore Carucci, Fabio Mariani, Emanuele Zappia, Ezio Zaccagnini, Sandro Deidda, Enrico Solazzo, Giorgio Rosciglione, Gumbi Ortiz, Stefano Sabatini, and many more.

In 2004, she released her first solo album: The dream of love.
She has taken part in several jazz festivals such as Villa Celimontana, Lucca in Jazz, Tuscia in jazz to name a few.

Lead singer of Jazzbit, a group born from an idea of Dario Rosciglione, she has participated in two seasons of theatre tours with Giorgio Panariello and many national and international festivals, and the 2004 album Jazbeat, distributed worldwide, is a landmark of Electro Swing.

For a year, she moved to Los Angeles and took part in a series of concerts in the city’s best live clubs.
In 2020 she released the album Remembering, arranged and produced by Enrico Solazzo for the Via Veneto Jazz. In 2020 she performed two tracks in the Rai 1 TV drama ‘Gli orologi del diavolo’ with Beppe Fiorello. Vocal coach and performer of the song ‘These boots are made for walking’ in the TV drama ‘La bambina che non voleva cantare’ on Rai 1 in 2021, author and performer of the song ‘Pride and weak’ for the film Rinascere directed by Umberto Marino.

Author of the lyrics and performer of the song ‘Sparkle of life’ in the documentary film dedicated to Ugo Tognazzi’s centenary ‘La voglia matta di vivere’ directed by Ricky Tognazzi.
Author of the lyrics and performer of four songs for the film on Rai 1 in 2024 ‘Questione di stoffa’ directed by Alessandro Angelini.
She has collaborated on several record productions including Enrico Solazzo’s latest album released in 2022 ‘Perfect Journey’ for Via Veneto Jazz.

Giorgio Rosciglione

Giorgio Rosciglione is an established musician on the national jazz scene. From Palermo where he began his artistic career, he moved to Rome to join a circuit of festivals and collaborations in Italy and abroad.

He is considered among the greatest European double bass player, Giorgio Rosciglione was first double bass with the RAI orchestra for 30 years, has collaborated with Ennio Morricone, Piero Piccioni and Nino Rota in the production of major soundtracks, has played with Art Farmer, Benny Goldson, Dexter Gordon Griffin, as well as Mel Lewis, Steve Grossman, Sal Nistico, Freddy Hubbard, George Coleman, J. Griffin and many other internationally renowned jazz musicians. He has taken part in the most important Italian and European jazz festivals.

Enrico Solazzo

Enrico is a composer, producer, arranger and pianist. He has performed in concerts and musical productions with various musicians including: Amedeo Minghi, Alex Britti, Flaminio Maphia, Franco Califano, Max Pezzali, Fabrizio Moro, Nicky Nicolai, Stefano Di Battista, Tollak Ollenstad, Giorgio Panariello, JazzBit, Renato Carosone, Riccardo Cocciante, Fontella Bass, Michael Thompson, Vinnie Colaiuta, Kaligola, Claudio Baglioni, Renato Zero, Biagio Antonacci, Antonello Venditti, Mario Biondi, Gigi D’Alessio and many others.

He has participated in major festivals including: JVC Jazz Festival Celimontana, Wien Jazz-Blues Festival (Osterreich), Abu Dhabi Jazz Festival (U.A.E.), Dubai Philips jazz festival (U.A.E.), Shanghai festival (China), São Paulo Tom Jobim (Brazil), Nice – Juan les pins – Cannes (France), Primo Maggio (P. zza S. Giovanni), Monza International Rock Festival, Zurich Festival (Switzerland), Umbria Jazz Winter, and in the most important Italian music festival ‘Sanremo’ as arranger and conductor.

From 2011 to 2013 he toured with Giorgio Panariello with the show ‘Panariello non esiste’. In December 2022, the album Perfect Journey was released – distributed by the Via Veneto Jazz label.

Emanuele Zappia

From an early age, Emanuele was passionate about listening to and studying jazz music and began studying drums at the age of only 10. In the following years, he moved to Rome and continued his studies at the UM (University of Music). In July 2007, he won the ‘Jimmy Woode Award’ as best drummer and immediately after graduating, he began teaching at UM.

Emanuele has recorded two albums and taken part in several festivals, including: Roccella Jazz ‘rumori mediterranei’, Villa Celimontana, Casa del Jazz, Tuscia in Jazz, Eddie Lang Jazz Festival, Potenza Jazz Festival, Albenga Jazz Festival, Fermo Jazz Festival, Umbria Jazz etc.

Among his many collaborations are: Giorgio Rosciglione, Guido Pistocchi, Piero Angela, Franco Piana, David Boato, Vincenzo Florio, Marco Loddo, Francesco Puglisi, Marco Acquarelli, Marco Ferri, Carlo Atti, Mario Corvini, Andrea Beneventano, Salvatore Bonafede, Ettore Carucci, Fabrizio Bosso, Emanuele Basentini, Giovanni Amato, Dario Deidda, Ossian Roberts, Dmitry Baevsky, Grant Stewart, Alex Hoffman, Michael Rosen, Ehud Asherie, Thomas Kirkpatrick.

In July 2022, he had the pleasure of recording some tracks with Piero Angela on piano, for the production of his album at the Rai Radio Studios, together with Giorgio Rosciglione on double bass.
